Nyx Butter Lipstick is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

Hello everyone. This is my first time wearing Nyx’s Butter Lipstick all day and I have to say I’m impressed!

I applied Moonlit Night around 8am before going to work. And this lipstick stayed on all day. By the time I got home, this lipstick felt like a matte finish. It wasn’t transferring when I ate or drank during dinner time. That was an 11 hour long wear.

Lunch break, I did touch it up a tiny bit due to a little fading. But it wasn’t much product applied compared to the morning. And usually when I reapply a lipstick, it fades quicker or forms more dry patches around my lips. This lipstick lasted all day without any dry patches. I didn’t feel my lips badly chapped or drying either.

One Assistant Director told me she wanted me to teach her how to apply makeup because she likes how mine looks. I have never taught someone how to do makeup before. I have been told by another coworker at a previous job the same thing; however, she and I never scheduled anything for it. But it felt so good getting a compliment that my makeup is good because I have been kinda worried about how I apply certain ones- eyeshadow for example on my crease, and how I apply on my lips- is it too much? Is one side not equal to the other? I can never tell if what I’m doing is too much or not.

Also, my eyeliner seems to create spots, rather than a nice solid line. I always wonder how others can create that nice line using just eye pencils. I haven’t mastered the liquid eyeliners yet. Therefore, I am sticking to the retractable eye pencils.
