Too Faced vs Maybelline New York!

I finally found the Maybelline Color Jolt collection I heard a YouTuber review. They said it dupes Too Faced Melted lipsticks. Wearing #35 Berry Naughty from Color Jolt line, I have to say, they did a pretty good job!
Walgreens is selling Maybelline’s Color Jolt lip paints for $9.99. Currently, if you buy one you get another half off. Other stores sell these Color Jolt’s, too.

Too Faced Melted lipsticks are sold for $21. You can find them at Sephora and Ulta.

Too Faced tube, as, you can see in the picture, is bigger than Maybelline’s. Too Faced carries 0.12 mL/0.40 Fl Oz, while Maybelline’s contain half the amount (6.4 mL/0.21 Fl Oz).

These two look similar in shade- only one is more Berry and the other more red. Too Faced Melted is called Melted Velvet and it is my favorite among its collection. Maybelline’s is called Berry Naughty. This shade is my favorite among its collection as well.

Swatches:

They both look glossy. They feel soft and creamy on the lips.

One difference other than the size of the tubes is where the product comes out. One has a big hole, the other does not. Too Faced is created so that some product comes out without bursting all over and making a huge mess. Maybelline’s doesn’t have this. I haven’t had Color Jolt burst on me yet and I applied it on twice already.

I actually like Maybelline’s. These two are both great. There’s not many color choices in Maybelline’s as there are in Too Faced. I hope maybelline comes out with more, though.
