For years I never understood what BB and CC creams are for. I read on one of Avon’s brochures that BB creams are more lightweight and better for summer. Before last winter ended, I was getting in the habit of wearing a liquid foundation daily. Then spring and summer had to ruin that by breaking my face out.
I decided to give a BB cream a try. I went drugstore style, rather than a high-end brand. On my face is #550 medium/deep.
I find this is easy and quick to apply. Looking at my face, it’s like there’s nothing there.
The back of this BB cream tube states: “CoverGirl Clean Matte BB Cream provides the perfect amount of coverage to even skin tone, hide blemishes, and keep you shine free all day!”
I applied this around 5:40/5:50 PM. It is now 6:03 PM; therefore, I cannot tell you how long this will last right now. I am hoping to use this tomorrow.
CoverGirl BB Cream is oil-free, won’t clog pores, suitable for sensitive skin, and lasts all day.
Great post! I love mine!

Thanks, great post on your blog, too! This is my first time using it. I’m just hoping it doesn’t break me out like liquid foundations do. Do you know if BB creams need moisturizers or primers underneath? I didn’t apply any since I applied it around like 4 or 5pm. I didn’t think I really needed it for a short time wearing.

I always moisturize and prime if I’m wearing any makeup at all! So far I haven’t had any break outs from it, which is nice!

That’s cool. I started breaking out a little with my Make Up Forever foundation I purchased last year. I liked it but problem is irritated my eyes. That’s why I stopped using it. I told myself I’ll try it again. The past three days my eyes have been irritated. I really want a nickel/quaternium-15 free foundation in drugstore brands. But it’s hard to tell without buying and trying how it’ll effect me, especially when I can’t try it at the store.
