Hello rosy lips! Sold at Sephora for $7, the cult-favorite, multipurpose Smith’s Minted Rose lip balm soothes dry lips and skin. The site describes the lip balm as:
“Created especially for Sephora, this must-have lip balm calms and heals irritation, and soothes the sting of minor burns. Easy-to-use and versatile, dab it on chapped lips, elbows, or knees to condition and relieve dryness.”
I love this lip balm. At first, I was iffy about buying it for the price and not knowing whether or not I’d use it like all the other lip balms I purchased. I have a tin can Nivea lip balm I barely used. A Vaseline rosy lips I purchased, then lost a few days later. Another big container of Vaseline original. The Vaseline is moisturizing, but I like using Smith’s lip balm more because of the smell, the feel, and the tint it gives.
This soft, minty rose lip balm sits in a tin can with a net weight of 0.8 oz/22 grams. Smells like mint and rose (minty rose!). And is very soothing to lips. I wear this at night before I go to bed and sometimes a little when I wake up before I start getting ready for work.
If you don’t like the smell of mint, you may not like smelling the lip balm in the tin can. But once placed on your lips, the smell isn’t so strong. In fact, after applying the lip balm to my lips, I could no longer smell the mint or the rose.
I used to not go for rosy shades and minty smells. I feel like rose don’t look good on me. This rosy shade gives a nice tint to my lips. Not only is it soothing to my lips, but the minty aroma is soothing to my nose.
Have you or anyone you know tried this lip balm? What do you think of it? Do you like it? Would you refer it to your friend?
Thanks for reading my blog(s) and for your time. Have a good night!
